The roof of the central nave is gabled and supported by a timber structure comprising double trusses with tension members, featuring lateral overhangs that form a canopy.
The main trusses are a combination of timber and steel, with the steel providing the tension. The entire secondary structure and battens are timber.
A large overhang, supported by steel brackets, forms the gable canopy.
