MaPPP masts were selected following a tender for the supply of maritime radar masts along the Italian coast. The client requested that measurements of the horizontal alignment of the top platform be carried out under high loads. The measurements were taken using inclinometers and cameras on a special platform in Livorno. The measured deflection was 0.043°, which validated the process. To date, nine masts of this type have been installed.
