The footbridge spans the river Loing. The load-bearing structure is of the bow-string type. The upper part of the handrail is fitted with a welded steel mesh (8 mm wire) acting as a web, stiffening the arch against asymmetric loads. The structure is entirely built in weathering steel, using folded sheet technology. The deck is made of high performance concrete.
