Morteau Footbridge (25)
To create a route for soft mobility between Morteau and Montlebon, a new footbridge will span the River Doubs at the Plaine des Sports.
The footbridge consists of two spans with a central pier in the River Doubs to support the structure.
The structure is very light and slender, blending seamlessly with the natural curves of the surrounding landscape and the poetic meanders of the River Doubs.
Pile foundations and a steel structure with Warren-type truss side beams. The appearance of the truss is softened by non-structural handrail bars.
