Pedestrian footbridge in Cloyes – 2007
Client: Town of Cloyes
Project managers: MaP3 BET Structure – Jacques Veyer-Ingenieur
The footbridge deck is suspended by folded sheet metal columns with local reinforcement using timber and Warren hangers.
The arch forms a handrail and transfers its thrust to the exposed tie rods beneath the deck, thus creating a new curved line.
